You will identify industries and other acitivities in your area that may be contributing to acid rain production on a global level.

Materials:

  • computer with Internet connection


Invitation:

Answer these two questions, and check to see what other students have to say.

  • Use the Internet to identify industries in your area (a 20 mile or 10 kilometer radius from you school) that may emit particulates of sulfur or nitrous oxides.
  • Use the Internet to identify other acitivites in your area (a 20 mile or 10 kilometer radius from you school) that may contribute to acid precipitation.
