About
the Soil and Agriculture Module
In
this Web-based module American and Russian students
will explore the important global environmental
relatiionship of soil and agriculture. In the
module you will learn the differnece between dirt
and soil, what soil is made of, and how to conduct
tests of soil properties. In lessons 3 and 4 you
will explore how humans affect and influence soil
conditions. All of these explorations will be
conducted in both your local environment and that
of the environment of your cooperating school. This
will afford you the opportunity to communicate your
ideas and make global connections about soil.
